Lionelo Bastiaan i-Size is a 4-in-1 rotating car seat complying with the latest R129 safety standard. The seat can be used across a wide height range, from 40 to as much as 150 cm, so it grows with your child from infant to toddler. The safety systems provide the highest level of protection, while the design itself guarantees comfort on every journey. Lionelo Bastiaan i-Size is a model made with parents in mind as well, with the 360° EasyTurn rotating base designed to put in and take out the child with maximum ease. ISOFIX combined with the Top Tether belt ensure simple, intuitive and, above all, correct installation. Lionelo Bastiaan i-Size can be used in both forward and rear-facing configurations.

The seat is manufactured according to the R129 standard, which places special emphasis on enhanced side impact protection and reinforced headrest. This is why Bastiaan i-Size has a robust, impact-resistant shell designed specifically to ensure extra protection in side-impact situations. The headrest has been reinforced with thick Memory Foam padding which perfectly absorbs forces that can strain the child's most vulnerable body parts: the head and neck area. For increased safety, Bastiaan i-Size allows for transporting your toddler in the rear-facing position (RWF) until the age of four (105 cm). Even though it is possible to carry children in the face-forward position from a height of just 100 cm, we strongly advise making the adjustment only after exceeding the indicated height.

In addition to complying with the most rigorous safety standards, Lionelo Bastiaan i-Size takes into account the needs of parents. Research shows that proper car seat installation is a crucial factor during collision. This is why Bastiaan i-Size is mounted with the ISOFIX system and Top Tether belt. Both systems feature special indicators to provide parents with guidance on correct installation. When the seat is securely attached, the indicator changes colour from red to green. Within the height range of 100 to 150 cm, you have the flexibility to install the seat using either the ISOFIX system and the car safety belts or just the belts.

Bastiaan i-Size is proves its great value on both short and long car journeys. The child’s comfort is an absolute priority, so the seat can be adjusted as needed to accommodate the individual needs of the youngest passengers. The model features a 4-step adjustable backrest tilt for forward-facing (FWF) installation and the flexibility to adopt a semi-reclining position when in the rear-facing (RWF) configuration, making the seat well-suited for longer trips. The headrest adjustment system has been configured with belt adjustments to make it easier to position the seat as your child grows.

With comfort in mind, both the belts and the buckle are equipped with special pads that protect the child’s delicate skin from chafing and discomfort.
